Out of memory exception in designer

I get an out of memory exception in the designer using the XAML version in release preview. This is the same in Blend and Visual Studio and makes it hard for me design the player design.

Any ideas to how I can fix this?

+1 on this one.

I got it too, or else it's a bunch of PathTooLongException.

So far, I've never been able to get a design surface in Visual or Blend with a MediaPlayer in it.

Same here, makes doing any design impossible.

Hi folks, I've been hunting this down for a while now and I'm happy to say that it is now fixed; an update should be available in the coming days.

In case anyone is interested: there is a bug in VS and Blend where the CopyRedistToSubDirectory attribute in the extension SDK manifest would cause this. Loading the dlls from source code or as binaries not installed as as extension SDK would work fine.

Thanks for your patience everyone,

Tim

Thank you very much Tim! That's great news for me.
