Topics: Windows 8 Xaml

I've added TimelineMarkers to add subtitles/captions to my movies. Could you please let me know if I can change background colour, make text bold, italic and so on...

Suppose there should be such ability, but I cannot find.

Thanks for any help!

Hello, are you using the CaptionMarkers or TimedText plugin to display captions? If TimedText: all styling instructions come from the TTML itself. If the CaptionMarkers (which I'm guessing you are using based on your use of TimelineMarkers): the plugin exposes a property called CaptionsPanelStyle. You can use this to provide a custom style to the CaptionsPanel control (which is used to display the individual captions as well). Here you can control any styling you want as long as it can be done in Xaml.

thanks. I've resolved this problem by creating custom subtitles. I needed some dynamic changes in styling.
