So i'm just starting out with C# and windows 8 development.  So far i've edited the windows 8 blog sample from to have a mediaplayer right above the web view by changing the scrollview section to what is posted below.  I've hooked up an event handler for double clicking on the player but when i double click the player always shows up behind the webview. First question is how do i get the player to show up in front of the webview.  My second question is how do i get the player to show up fullscreen and centered in the center of the screen while full screen instead of having the player centered in it's "section" of the blog example.

<TextBlock x:Name="itemTitle" Text="{Binding Title}"

<ContentThemeTransition />

<mmppf:MediaPlayer Name="player" Source="" Height ="200" Width="400" Canvas.ZIndex="99" Margin="83,0" Grid.Row="1" DoubleTapped="pop"/>

<Border x:Name="contentViewBorder" BorderBrush="Gray" BorderThickness="2"

Grid.Row="2" Margin="0,15,0,20">

<WebView x:Name="contentView" Canvas.ZIndex="10" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollMode="Enabled" Source=""/>

<Rectangle x:Name="contentViewRect" />

private void pop(object senderDoubleTappedRoutedEventArgs e)

player.Height = 1000;

player.Width = 1000;

 player.IsFullScreen = true;

 player.IsFullScreenVisible = true;
