How to style the control?

I'm running into an issue where, when I use the media control on a page and set it to a small width (eg: 250x250), the big "Play" button which overlaps the PosterSource picture is "too big" for that picture: the play button looks like it's shown "outside" of the control.

I figured this wouldn't be a problem to fix: just open Blend and start styling the control, right?  Well, here's the problem: when I open the media player control in Blend and ask to edit a copy of the style, I simply get an empty ControlTemplate...

So my question is: how do I correctly style the media player control?  Or is there another way to ensure the big "play" button (when PosterSource picture is visible) doesn't "bleed" over the edges of the PosterSource picture?
