We are using the media player to stream video from a server. While playing the PC screen saver won't start and the sleep does not occure. But on Surface (or I guess any mobile device) it is different. Even if the video is playing, the sleep occures. The player is configured like this:
       <mmppf:MediaPlayer x:Name="mediaPlayer" Volume="1" MediaStarting="mediaPlayer_MediaStarting" Background="Transparent"
                           IsFastForwardEnabled="False" IsGoLiveEnabled="False" IsCaptionSelectionEnabled="False" IsReplayEnabled="False"
                           IsSkipAheadEnabled="False" IsSkipBackEnabled="False" IsSkipNextEnabled="False" IsSkipPreviousEnabled="False"
                           IsSlowMotionEnabled="False" IsTimeRemainingVisible="False" IsTimelineVisible="False" IsVolumeVisible="False"
                           IsTimeElapsedVisible="False" IsPlayPauseVisible="False" AudioDeviceType="Console" InteractiveActivationMode="None" AudioCategory="BackgroundCapableMedia">
            <mmppf:MediaPlayer.Plugins>
                <adaptive:AdaptivePlugin />
            </mmppf:MediaPlayer.Plugins>
        </mmppf:MediaPlayer>
Does anyone have a hint what could cause this problem?
