Xaml namespaces are defined differently for Windows Runtime (universal apps included) apps. Instead of this:
xmlns:mmppf="clr-namespace:Microsoft.PlayerFramework;assembly=Microsoft.PlayerFramework"
use this:
xmlns:mmppf="using:Microsoft.PlayerFramework"
