HLS video buffers indefinitely

I'm working on a project for a client and I have a strange problem when playing HLS with PlayerFramework. I know that the PlayerFramework doesn't do any decoding of the HLS but for some reason it's interfering with the playback of that stream. The behavior I'm seeing is that some times the video just buffers indefinitely in the beginning and never starts playing. I don't see this behavior if I just use a regular <video> tag.

Do you have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Have you tried with the latest version of PF?

We've tried the latest version but the problem is still there.

There was quite a bit of thrashing in getting the last release together and a number of issues have been reported that should have been fixed in the last build. To rectify that, I replaced the VSIX in the release with the known good version. I urge you to uninstall, download and reinstall via which is the VSIX listed on the release page,

If that still does not help, afraid there is not much help I can offer without the URI for the stream.

Unfortunately the problem seems to be present in that build too.
