Hello,

We are using SMF player to deliver our Smooth Streaming content. Actually we did lots of changes in SMF source code to meet our project need. We have a new designed SMF player.

Here is the list of changes :
  1. Media Plugins : To get the active plugins
  2. Overlays : To add/remove the overlays while video is playing
  3. MAST, VAST, Advertisement
  4. Design, Controls and many more
Now I just want to know how can I do this with HTML 5 player?

I want to create new HTML 5 player same as SMF player.

The HTML5 web version of the player framework is built in JavaScript, HTML, & CSS which means it has no code in common with the Silverlight version, so the short answer is: you'll need to redo the work you did for Silverlight in these technologies.

There are many similarities however, such as a plugin model and some of the same or similar APIs. For styling, I'd start with creating custom CSS to see modify the look and feel.

Note: advertising is not supported at this time but we hope to add this feature in the future.
