Video failed to play (YouTube)

Hello,

I am using the Microsoft Player Framework to playback videos from YouTube in my Windows Store app (using C# and XAML). But since roughly a month my videos fail to play.

The code I am using is the following:

XAML
<mmppf:MediaPlayer
  x:Name="videoElement"
  VerticalAlignment="Top"
  Grid.Column="1"
  Width="Auto"
  Height="Auto"
  IsFullScreenVisible="True"
  IsFullScreenChanged="videoElement_IsFullScreenChanged"
  MediaFailed="videoElement_MediaFailed"
/>
C#
var url = await YouTube.GetVideoUriAsync("aMbM7dSCHEk", YouTubeQuality.Quality1080P);
videoFile = url.Uri;

if (videoFile != null) videoElement.Source = videoFile;
Is this related to the YouTube Data API v2 deprecation?

Have you tried playing this outside of PF with a standard MediaElement?
